The brush itself is perfect, however the listing said it came with toothpaste for it, and I did not receive any.

  2. Rated 5 out of 5

Seems nice but my dog passes away

  3. Rated 5 out of 5

This makes brushing my dogs teeth 3x as fast since it covers all three tooth surfaces and does a good job of holding and distributing the toothpaste. It really helps me do a better job with his teeth since it is a quicker and easier process for both of us, I use it more often.

  4. Rated 5 out of 5

Works well and cuts down time. None of my dogs like having there teeth brushed but will stand long enough for me to do it with this brush. Other brushes it kind turns in to a battle.

Brush head too big and bristles too stiff for a smaller (definitely 15lb and under) dog. Child’s toothbrush works better.

  6. Rated 4 out of 5

I really like this toothbrush due to it does the top and sides of the teeth at the same time. My dog does not like his teeth brushed so being able to do all that surface at one time is fantastic. I had a similar toothbrush but I didn’t like it because the brushing head could come off for no reason. This one is a much better design and the brush head is permanently attached. I would highly recommended this product for your pet.

I bought this toothbrush for my Pomeranian.I like the three brushes-in-one. The handle is long enough and the brushes are just the right size. The most important part is that this brush cleans his teeth well. For the price this toothbrush can’t be beat!

  8. Rated 3 out of 5

The toothpaste is good and smells really nice but the toothbrush doesn’t work as well as I would have thought. It’s better just to use a normal one.

  9. Rated 1 out of 5

I have two dachshunds and this doesn’t come close to fitting in their mouths. The toothbrush is huge, larger then my thumb. When trying to brush their teeth they are gagging the whole time. This is a poorly designed product for small dogs. I can see how this would be useful mid to large breed dog.

  10. Rated 4 out of 5

This is a little bigger than I would like, but works better than any other dog toothbrush I’ve tried. Because of the 3 sides I can brush my dog’s teeth quickly and more thoroughly. She doesn’t like having her teeth brushed so this helps to get it done faster.

    The Product Review Virtuoso

This brush head is way too large for my 12 lbs mini poodle’s mouth. It’s about the same size head as their large size (which I also purchased).I brush her teeth twice a day and the brushes are pretty frayed and worn out already, it’s been a couple of months. I didn’t deduct any stars for this normal wear.

No softer than the usual dog toothbrush. Vet suggested I try a child’s toothbrush, although the short handle would be a downside.Handle is too short. Not suitable for my 64# dog’s teeth, EXCEPT for the milk teeth in front.

Does not work for my Bichon. the brush head is too big for her.

  14. Rated 3 out of 5

Unfortunately I was sent thheee small brushes when I ordered one small and two large. I like these brushes and find them much more effective then the regular ones but the small ones are not much use to me.

Searching for the best dog-toothbrush, I bought 7 different brands/models. The EZ Dog Pet 3-sided toothbrush looks good: has 3-sided bristle configuratilike the most effective dog-toothbrushes have– but the bad is that the outer “arms” of the brush are way-to-flimsy, and they splay outwards, completely missing the teeth and annoying my dogs’ because the bent-outward arms bump up against their tongue and cheeks. This brush is better than some, but not as good as other models like the “KissAble Pet Toothbrush” or the “HDP EZDOG Triple Pet Toothbrush”, both of which are my best picks so far.

I transitioned from using silicone finger brushes to this, and it gets their teeth a lot cleaner in a lot less time, especially in the back. You just kind of have to shove it back their molars and do a few quick brushes, and this design helps you get all the angles in the time that they’ll sit still for you to brush their teeth.I would recommend this only for large breeds, (I have a 2-year-old husky) and if you’re a first timer it may be easier to start out with a finger brushes. I tried a baby human toothbrush briefly before I got a dog one, and he was not having it, but once he was used to being brushed (and since he loves chicken-flavored toothpaste) it was a lot easier to get him to let me brush his teeth with this thing. Also, if you are worried about keeping this clean, it is dishwasher safe, but also easy to get clean by just washing it in the sink (the brush apparatus is flexible, not stiff like I thought it would be, and I was initially worried toothpaste would build up it). It would fit in most human travel toothbrush holders/covers to store it.I have only had mine for a few days so I can’t comment how it wears over time, but I do think the design is genius and because it’s so much easier than what I’ve been doing, I feel more motivated to brush every day and hopefully prevent his old dog breath from being too bad for the future!

  18. Rated 4 out of 5

I found this easier to use than the finger brushes, but my dog still fights getting his teeth brushed. He just wants to lick the paste off.

  19. Rated 1 out of 5

The handle is a bit short in Length. I was excited about the three brush heads but the heads don’t separate while your brushing, they are stiff. After about 10 uses I finally spread the brush heads apart but it snapped off and broke.

I ordered this for my 6 pound chihuahua and it was WAY WAY too big. It wouldnt even fit in her mouth.

I have a three month old puppy that I use this and it works perfect. If you have a really small dog the brush might be too big for their mouth.

  22. Rated 2 out of 5

The toothbrush was too big for my 10lb terrier.

  23. Rated 4 out of 5

These toothbrushes work very well but are a bit bulky for a small dog so it took my dogs a few brushings to adjust. It does seem to make the process go a lot faster, though, since it has so much coverage.

I have a golden who doesn’t necessarily like to have his teeth brushed. We brush his teeth probably 5-6 times per week. This toothbrush does the job quickly. I find it sturdy and easy to use. It does take a little adjusting to make sure that you place the brush properly. However I like this toothbrush the best out of the ones I’ve tried.

Makes brushing time so much easier. My lil Pom is pretty spoiled and doesn’t like to put up with things he doesn’t like for too long, but this brush saves so much time he hardly minds

Its so cute Im in love and my dog loved the flavor.

  29. Rated 4 out of 5

I like this brush. It worked well for about a week but then suddenly my standard poodle snapped one part of the brush off. I was able to ‘fish’ it out before he swallowed it. No more of this for us. I will read about the brush for large dogs.

Best concept but didn’t work for us. Regular s style toothbrush with bent handle worked best for us. Will not but again. Plus dog already bit a side brush off.

My dog hates his teeth being brushed. This brush covers all sides so that means I am wrestling the beast for a lot less time and feel better about getting all the sides of his teeth.

This works good for the back and side of my dogs teeth. My poodle mix, 25 lbs (not over weight) is going onto 15 years of age (?) Got him from the pound when he was 2 years (?). He has lost a few of his front teeth but still has all his back teeth. He doesn’t know he is elderly.

Easy to use. Even though my dog hates the teethbrushing every night. This brush makes brushing easier.

  51. Rated 4 out of 5

my dogs dislike it but it worked great and made it easier to brush there teeth

  52. Rated 2 out of 5

Very rough bristles and hurt my dog’s gums. He is less than 15 pounds and this toothbrush was too large to comfortably fit in his mouth.

Love the design of this tooth brush, unfortunately it broke the second use of light brushing

    Hard bristled

  58. Rated 3 out of 5

Quite large and bulky. It’s well made, but I have difficulty getting to my pup’s back teeth due to the sizing

  59. Rated 5 out of 5

This toothpaste is tasty enough to qualify as a treat ! The 3-sided brush embraces teeth inside, outside, and chewing surfaces ! My terrier had several unpleasant tooth brushing experiences before I happened upthis product. As a result, I give him a taste my finger then put some the brush and use it in my own mouth before I let him have his teeth brushed ! This only works because the toothpaste has that vanilla taste that many dogs ADORE !

  60. Rated 5 out of 5

Works great to brush my Great Danes teeth.

  63. Rated 4 out of 5

I assumed the sizing would be a bit disproportionate, so I ordered a small for my 60 pound dog, and it’s just right. It would be massive for a small dog’s mouth! It works great and makes brushing faster. The handle is also nice. To make sure the middle head gets cleaned I spread the sides apart while rinsing.

    E&H Fleischer

I can see the advantage of this toothbrush, for getting all sides at once and brushing more quickly, but I don’t recommend it for just starting out. It’s a bit difficult to get it placed over all of the teeth: the brush bristles are smooshed together, so the brush head has to expand a little to cover them, meaning you have to push it down over the teeth; also, the brush head is super big and bulky, due to having three sides in one. So, it’s really hard to use in the “getting used to it” phase. I switched to a finger tip toothbrush and hope to progress to this one after my dog is more used to brushing in general. I’ll update this review if I get to the point where we can use this brush, if I find that it’s worth more stars then. 🙂

  65. Rated 3 out of 5

I found this brush a little bit harder for me to use with my dog. It is a good product, but just not for me to use for brushing my dog’s teeth.

  66. Rated 5 out of 5

This toothbrush is awesome, as with senior doxies they have a smaller mouth and this brush covers the entire row of teeth, sides and top of teeth so less brushing is needed., I do it with Virbac paste just before bed, just as humans do, and 2-3 times a week. And the days I don’t use paste I will sneak a brush with water in if they will let me, just to brush off what plaque they have surface since last brush.

  67. Rated 5 out of 5

My dogs hate getting their teeth brushed. This really helps getting it done quickly.

Very clever and handy design. Allows you to brush the entire tooth in one motion. Easy to use and clean. My dog appreciates the shorter brushing time. She only took a day to get used to it.

  70. Rated 4 out of 5

Good deal easy to grip. Need a smaller size for my babies but works good

  71. Rated 5 out of 5

A lot easier to get all sides of the teeth in a few strokes. Now to just get my pup to stop trying to chew the brush while it is in her mouth, lol

I love the concept of this toothbrush, but found it was too big for my 6 lb poodle’s mouth. The toothbrush was too big to fit between her back molars. Will have to continue to search for the right brush. BUT she loved the toothpaste!!!

  73. Rated 5 out of 5

My dog LOVES this tooth brush,I believe it is the size and the different bristles it has.i have used others in the past and he likes this one the best.

Great toothbrush! My dog has never been fond of having his teeth brushed. This brush gets top and both sides of his teeth all at the same time. I think he appreciates that. I know I do. We get the job done in less than half the time.

These doggie tooth brushes are great! I’ve used several brands my Yorkiepoo and some of them fell apart. This one held the bristles even after he bit down them quite hard multiple times. I like how it has the flexible parts!

Get a BPA toddler toothbrush for half the price and call it good!

It’s advertised as a small breed toothbrush but was too large for my chihuahua.

The brush head is really large and clunky and hard to maneuver around inside my poor dogs mouth.

  79. Rated 3 out of 5

Not yet convinced if it cleans like advertised, as it is not easy to get all brushes to move around and my dog is not comfortable with the brush arrangement.

  80. Rated 5 out of 5

My dog HATES having his teeth brushed. I saw this toothbrush and thought it might give me a fighting chance of getting some of his teeth cleaner. It has been incredible! It takes much less time to cover so much more area. He still hates it, but we can both be happy with the shorter fight.

  81. Rated 2 out of 5

My dog did not like this toothbrush. I previous used a flat dog toothbrush and I have gone back to using that instead.

    Good toothbush

  87. Rated 5 out of 5

I like these toothbrushes for several reasons. First, the way they surround the teeth three sides helps me to keep the brush the teeth while the dog is wiggling and using his tongue to lick the toothpaste. I also like the fact they were a bit smaller than another brand, so they fit better in our small dogs. Lastly, they have some flexibility at the three heads, to make them adjust to the size of the teeth.

There is no way that the toothbrush will fit my Pomeranian mouth, they are way too big and so flimsy, the only thing is that they like the toothpaste. The descriptiis misleading.

Great product for the puppy. He loves the taste and the crush really gets the job done

  91. Rated 4 out of 5

This is a very good quality triple toothbrush. I use a regular one to brush and then I finish with this one to brush inside. I’ve tried a couple of brands and this one was the best one.

  92. Rated 4 out of 5

It will always be a pain to bush your dogs teeth. The small size was still a little large for my pug.

  93. Rated 4 out of 5

    K Fiery

I’m giving it a 4 because it’s a good brush, but it’s still too big for my toy poodle. I can’t really use it his back teeth because it gags him, and it’s much too big for his front teeth. I have gone back to using a standard baby brush, but if your dog is a little bigger than mine (5 lbs) you might find it just perfect!

It said it was for small dogs, but it was too big for my 8 lb toy poodle.

  96. Rated 1 out of 5

my dog lets me brush his teeth-he tolerates it-with a baby tooth brush. I thought this brush might be more effective. it is way too large for his moth (he is a 20 lb eskie) and he will not let me get this in his mouth. I might try to pass it off to someone at the dog park. maybe a larger dog-even though this says for small dogs

  97. Rated 3 out of 5

I’ve used a variety of three headed doggie toothbrushes and have found some bristles too hard and some too soft, and this toothbrush is the latter.

  98. Rated 1 out of 5

    Steel 117

Lasted 45 seconds and then one arm snapped. This is not made to last for a large breed unless your dog can keep her mouth wide open while you brush. Otherwise this is a two persjob to hold the dogs mouth open while you brush. My dog is a 70lb lab/catahoula who accepted it in her mouth and slightly nibbled as I brushed. Then, it snapped and I had to keep her from choking the toothbrush head. 45 seconds… $7.00=Overpriced crap! I like the concept of a 3 sided dog toothbrush but the design coupled with cheap thin plastic makes this a risky product to place in a pets mouth. Congratulations, this product earns the 1st one star review from me.

this product is great, my dogs are super difficult and I’ve never had much luck brushing them before. But it’s ing that it brushes both sides of their teeth at the same time so brushing doesn’t take forever. They LOVE this toothpaste too, really helps their breath especially stinky days!

  103. Rated 5 out of 5

Our lab loves getting his teeth brushed and this does both sides at once, creative idea

  104. Rated 1 out of 5

This thing broke right away the first use. One of the arms holding the brush heads just snapped right off.

  105. Rated 1 out of 5

The side brushes don’t really rub where they should. They rub my dog’s lip/cheek instead of the side of the teeth. The middle brush works ok but that’s not really why I got this. Great idea but just didn’t work for my mini schnauzer.

My dog hates it… it’s too big to fit into the back of his mouth to get to his rear molars. He takes off running every time he sees it.

  116. Rated 5 out of 5

Almost think human toothbrushes should be designed this way. The three brushes make it easier to get all sides of my puppers teeth. He also seems to like the bristle softness.

  117. Rated 5 out of 5

Brushing my Akita’s teeth is a breeze :DEven when she chews the brush head, the bristles don’t fall out like some of the other ones I have tried.

This is the perfect small dog toothbrush. The rubber grip makes it easy to hold and slip-free. The bristles brush all three sides of the teeth at the same time, and it has some give to it so you can’t really use too much pressure. Now if I could just find a toothbrush that makes my dog Cricket like getting her teeth brushed!

  124. Rated 5 out of 5

This triple sided brush makes it much quicker and easier to take care of my unwilling dog’s teeth. It only takes a couple of seconds – I can be done before she can squirm out of reach.

  125. Rated 5 out of 5

This tooth brush is ingenious! It allows you to brush the outside, inside, and tops of teeth all at the same time. The bristles are connected stems so they can flex apart for bigger teeth and press back inward for smaller teeth. In the past we’ve always used chewies to keep our dog’s teeth clean and it’s worked well but recently my female’s chewing muscles had atrophied and she was no longer able to keep her teeth clean herself. She HATES having her teeth brushed so it’s a battle but this brush allows me to get in and out so quickly and easily that I think she’s getting used to it. A few strokes in each quadrant and you’re done!

  126. Rated 5 out of 5

gets much more tooth surface coverage for my dog, which is nice because I only have a limited amount of time to brush his teeth before he starts wrestling away from me. So the more places it reaches, the better

I bought this the recommendatiof my dog’s vet. The bristles are definitely too rough, and opening the sections for his teeth was just about impossible. A waste of money.

Best toothbrush for dogs the market! I tried another brand that was more expensive to compare. This is by far better for reaching all angles of teeth. I will never switch again!

The design of this brush is awesome; however, the bristle material is so hard and still that it teas my dogs gums and makes them bleed. I bought two sizes one for each dog and the dogs run from this brush because the bristles hurt. Would love this design with a soft bristle that doesn’t hurt my dogs. I went back to a soft bristle human brush and they are both happy to get their teeth brushed again..

Works great; hugs the surrounding teeth just right. Now, if only I could get my dog to stop trying to chew the actual toothbrush I’d be happy!

I have a medium-sized chihuahua & a mini dachshund; this brush was awkward to fit in their mouths & way too big. I ended up breaking off the brushes the side to use it.

Finally, a toothbrush that is large enough for my lab. The brush itself is similar to other with the three-way brushing, but I like the flexible main head which seems to go easier the back teeth. The bristles were certainly stiff, but pre-rinsing it makes them a bit softer. Brushing teeth is hard enough, bu this tool certainly makes it easier.

Barely fits in my dogs mouth. He is a mix, 17 pounds. It also made his gums bleed when I tried to use it even though I was brushing gently. I am not happy with this product at all. Save your money and just use a toddler toothbrush. My little cousin’s toothbrush was free and works so much better (no, they do not share, she was done with it and my dog eats poop so he is fine with using a gently used toothbrush lol)

These toothbrushes works very well for our 70lb lab mixes. They have bristles all 3 sides so it does a great job at reaching all areas of their teeth. The toothpaste is vanilla flavored and they both love the taste of it. This helps make the tooth brushing sessinot so “torturous” for all of us lol! Overall, this set has made brushing their teeth mush easier!

Kind of a silly looking product, but I like it. My dog does too. He is afraid of everything, and the first time trying to brush his teeth was a hassle. But now he does great, and it’s easy to brush his teeth with this design.

I have a large shepherd and was hoping this tooth brush would be a good tool for keeping his teeth free of gunk. The brush did not even fit around his teeth, and is probably better suited for medium sized dogs with smaller mouths. Otherwise, the brush seems solid and would probably work if it was large enough.

    Linda Hendrex

This little toothbrush is a nice design for getting all surfaces of the teeth in a short amount of time AND it is good quality. It makes the job of thoroughly cleaning your dog’s teeth fast and easy IF YOUR DOG WILL ALLOW IT.BUT. I find that my dogs fight this toothbrush more than the ordinary ones with only one brush surface. And since in only takes a few minutes to brush a dog’s teeth, I think it is not a problem for me to simply use the inexpensive single surface brushes. These are OK, but not worth the trouble and expense and I won’t order again when these are worn out.So if you have a very, VERY tolerant and obedient dog, you might like this. If brushing your dog’s teeth is an ordeal, this might make the problem worse. And since my vet says that the back sides of the teeth don’t need brushing, I find this to be overkill.

  159. Rated 4 out of 5

My pup hated the toothbrush at first but has gotten more used to it. She seemed to dig the vanilla toothpaste from the start though. You can feel when you get the “right” placement of the brush so that it’s surrounding the teeth; it’s designed to do all 3 sides at once. It doesn’t work perfectly every time but feels mostly successful. A few of my friends use gauze wrapped around their finger with a little of the paste to brush their dogs’ teeth, and that seems to work, too. Anything you can do to remove some plaque. We do this once or twice a week, and she gets a little crunchy treat after each row of teeth.

I have a 12 lb rat terrier chihuahua mix. She really likes this toothpaste. She doesn’t mind the brush either. I’m just glad that I found something I can start to brush her teeth with. She lets me do it with this product. All that said, I don’t use the full capacity of this toothbrush. It is slightly big for her, so I don’t often get the whole head of the brush in her mouth her gums. But, enough of the brush gets in there to do the job we need it to do for now. That’s farther than I’ve gotten before with other products.

This dog tooth brush it much better than others I’ve tried! It’s softer and more flexible, so my puppy doesn’t hate it as much. I’d recommend also buying dog toothpaste in a flavor such as peanut butter instead of the mint. She HATED mint dog toothpaste, but with this brush and peanut flavored toothpaste she tolerates her brushings.

i did NOT receive any discount for this, nor did i get it for free. i paid full price.I’ve been using this pet toothbrush our dogs for a few weeks now and it’s of course a little hard to brush her teeth because like most dogs, if not all of them, hate to have their teeth brushed. But we like to brush their teeth at least once a week and once a year we take them to the vet to have their deep cleaning. This pet toothbrush works like it should. I don’t have any complaints other than our dogs not wanting it done. (laugh out loud)I think this is a good buy and a durable toothbrush.

Love this toothbrush. One of my dogs loves to chomp down the toothbrush when I brush her teeth and this brush handles that great and allows me to keep brushing her teeth anyways! I use this brush two 80lb dogs, each one with very different mouth structures/alignments and this brush works great for each of them. Also the toothpaste never falls off because you can place it between the bristles and the bristle setup keeps it in place as you bush!

The toothpaste is fine, she loves it and has no problem with it. But the brush has such hard, stiff bristles that it hurts her mouth. Those bristles are so hard, they will be used for cleaning grout at our house.

These are well made dog tooth brushes. They fit in my mini schnauzer’s mouths fine, but it took a while for them to get used to them. The middle brush looks a bit flimsy but when I looked closely, I realized it is almost like shocks so it sways, most likely helping the brush glide over the teeth. I like that it does all the teeth at once, but it is a bit clunky feeling when using it.

  180. Rated 4 out of 5

This brush is much larger than I thought it was going to be. It doesn’t quite fit in my dogs mouth. She doesn’t chew it, just licks the paste off. It does help with her breath for a while, but not a permanently or even really gradually fixing the problem.

This has worked really well.I like how it cleans almost all tooth surfaces with minimum turning.I had a different toothbrush, one with a single head shaped like a V and multiple bristles coming out. The head was hard plastic. One dog bit it and broke it the first time. So far, have had great luck with this. The three heads are separate and individual frames. They seem to move well over the teeth. And any pressure from the dog biting down they move out of the way.

My Belgian Malinois runs over to sit in front of my for toothbrushing anytime I say, “brusha-brusha”! The only problem is that after a few months of use (which isn’t bad!) she manages to mangle it up by gnawing it, too much. I’d love to buy a multipack just for this reason. This brush works much better than the long stick with a brush at either end. This one I can run along her back teeth, which is where the nasties try to hide!

This type of toothbrush isn’t the best for brushing my dog’s teeth. He doesn’t enjoy this process at all, and it seems like this type of tooth brush is harsher, it hits his gums more than a regular toothbrush. He loves the toothpaste though, but now I use it with a regular soft bristle human brush. A human type brush is also alot easier to control than this 3-sided brush.

Took my dog a bit to get used to my brushing his teeth but this brush helped a lot. With the 3 brushes, you can brush chewing, front and back surfaces in one step. A couple strokes for each quandrant of the mouth and you’re done. Quicker brushing means less of a mess and less annoyance for your dog. Paired this with poultry flavored toothpaste and the only real problem I have brushing him now is that he tries to lick the toothpaste off before I get the brush in place.

My dog is technically a medium sized mutt but her muzzle is a bit small so her mouth and teeth aren’t very big. Because this brush has bristles three sides it makes brushing her teeth a lot faster as you’re brushing the top and both sides of the teeth with every swipe. I’ve tried other dog tooth brushes and even the finger covers but they all seemed too large to use with her. This toothbrush is perfect!

  230. Rated 3 out of 5

After a visit to the vet to have my dog’s teeth cleaned which required a few extractions I bought two of these items. One for each of my dogs as two dogs should not share the same brush (for the same reaspeople don’t). Initially both my dogs were very hesitant to have the brush placed in their mouths. So initially I brushed only teeth I could get to (which was usually the front) and let them lick the rest of the toothpaste off the brush. Apparently it is like a ‘treat’. At night I would put some more toothpaste the brush and place it where they sleep so we could create a positive experience for them. They have now grown more accustomed to their respective brushes and are not frightened of the process any longer while continuing to enjoy the toothpaste. So much so they want to lick it off the brush immediately whereas I have other plans. If you’re smarter than me and have been cleaning your pet’s teeth since they were young (and are used to it) then you will most likely appreciate this even more.

It’s intimidating for our dog because we are sticking a giant toothbrush contraptiin his mouth, but once he got used to it it is really nice. It’s easy to get every angle his teeth because you are getting them all at once.

The three-way brush cleans our dogs’ teeth properly. However, don’t buy these if your dogs are small breed. Our dogs are shiba inu, and the small size fits them well. If your dogs are smaller than ours, it could be difficult to put the brush in their mouth

Absolutely a waste of Money!!! Wish I had believed the less than stellar reviews! Yes, it’s too hard the gums and it made my poor dogs mouth bleed. Complete waste of money! Triple Pet says this toothbrush is for small breeds so I decided to order it for my 3 1/2 year old pug. My wife and I take turns brushing his teeth every night so we thought this was an interesting looking toothbrush and might do a good job removing plaque. When we opened it up and saw the size of it, we knew there was no way this toothbrush would be safe his teeth. I would love to know what Triple Pet considers a small breed.. I consider a pug larger then a small breed but smaller then a medium breed (a toy breed as some may call it) so I thought that this toothbrush would be the perfect size for him since it says “for small breeds” and we needed a smaller toothbrush since we try to be gentle while brushing due to his upper and lower front teeth being as small as they are. They really need to change the wording to at least medium breeds and even than, I would still be weary depending what type of dog you have. DO NOT buy this toothbrush if you have a small breed dog or even some medium sized dogs. We continue to just use the soft and gentle finger brush for our pugs teeth.

I have both a Siberian Husky and a Golden Retriever and this brush is the perfect size for their teeth! Teeth brushing isn’t their favorite thing in the world, however they do tolerate it. I’ve found that this brush lasts quite a whole before the bristles start to show wear. I also like the fact that it has real bristles, all the brushes sold at my local per stores have plastic bristles and I’m a little skeptical about how well they work. The handle to this brush is also a large, grippable surface which makes the process a little easier as well! I completely recommend this product for fresh breath and pearly whites in your best friend!

It didn’t work well with my two beagles. Every time I tried to reach their molars, they would chew the toothbrush over and over. They resist the whole thing as if it were a torture… so go figure. They have already had similar toothbrushes and have them destroyed, so this time I expect the same will occur soon. I ordered it because I still like the “triple brush idea” and I thought this one would be better, based the good reviews; but I ended up wasting my money again.

These work great for my dog, an approximately 65 pound lab. I really like the way the 3 brushes work, especially the back teeth. I also like the grip that allows me to hang for the teeth brushing ride. Even though my dog is relatively tolerant of the brushing like most dogs he’s not really that into it. I use the Virbac CET toothpaste that seems pretty neutral, even though it is supposedly poultry flavor. I am careful to wash the brush off pretty carefully right after brushing, as the caked toothpaste if not removed will dry into the brush and it’s hard to remove after the fact.

Bristles aren’t hard, but I think they could stand to be a little bit softer, especially since this brush has 3 heads it. Also, I tasted a dab of the toothpaste (hey if it’s safe for my dog it’s safe for me) and it smells and taste great. But be warned about not getting this your hands and it literally was like glue and took a few hand scrubbings to get it off.

The perfect toothbrush. It reaches those hard to get to spots in the back of the mouth. I have a natural toothpaste as well to go with this. The bristles the toothbrush aren’t too hard as well. It’s quite nice!

Thought the idea of this brush was great. Brush all 3 sides at once. .. front, back, and bottoms of the teeth. However I found it to be very bulky. My dog who dosn’t mind getting her teeth brushed at all, minded it very much with this product. Also I thought the bristles were very hard. I only used this item 3 times before I threw away. I was afraid of hurting her gums!we went back to a regular tooth brush.maybe if you have a puppy your starting out with and training them to get their teeth brushed this might be ok. Just remember the bristles are harsh

This allows us to easily brush our GSD’s big teeth. The bristles are soft and really do surround each tooth. Brushing our dog’s teeth used to be difficult and messy, now it’s easier so we’ll do it more frequently.

Best toothbrush for dogs. Has fairly soft bristles like you’d find a regular toothbrush for people. Very flexible brush composition, which is great in a dog toothbrush since you are more applying the enzymatic toothpaste to the teeth and letting it do the work vs scrubbing the teeth with the toothbrush. Highly recommended and will surely buy this toothbrush again.

Not a bad product. Gave it it 3 stars for 2 reasons… My dog is terrified of it, well maybe not terrified but I can’t use it him without him freaking out where as the finger brush is fine with him. Secondly, Arm and Hammer makes a better versiof this only because the head where the bristles are this one is hard plastic whereas the A&H one has a jellylike head so if the dog bites down it, it won’t bust his teeth. Therefore, it’s also more flexible.

Me & my dog love this toothbrush. It took us a little while to get into a routine, it helps when I put my thumb against her gum and gently pull out her side of her mouth to give me room to brush between her teeth & lip. Switch your thumb to four different positions as you brush top, bottom, right & left.

my dog was able to break the brushing portiin a few quick chomps while I was brushing his teeth. If your dog won’t bite the tooth brush then it is a great product, but if he tries to chew it while you brush, buy something sturdier!

This toothbrush is not really small at all, yet the product headline claims that it is for “Small Breeds”. It doesn’t work for Cavalier King Charles spaniels little mouths. I can’t say how well it would work for any other breed, however I can’t imagine this large-head, hard base toothbrush. with multi-directional bristles would work for any small or medium breed dog without hurting their mouths. I’ve found that a child’s toothbrush works much better to brush a dog’s teeth, using an enzyme-based toothpaste.

This is the only toothbrush I have found that works for my greyhound, & I have not found it in pet stores. It does a fair job of brushing three surfaces simultaneously. It’s still a challenge getting into that “alligator mouth” but I have not found anything better.

I previously owned this style of toothbrush a few years ago for a previous dog. I decided I probably should start brushing my current dog’s teeth. (Ok, I mostly did it for selfish reasons, because his breath smells awful…but I’m also glad its good for his health).I purchased one of these because I had used it in the past. I used it a few times and thought “Hey, I probably can clean his teeth better if I use a regular toothbrush, then I can be sure to get all the sides and surfaces.Well….good idea. If your dog is impeccably trained. My dog is super tolerant, he doesn’t budge when they take his blood at the vet etc. He really likes the toothpaste so he doesn’t fight me at all, but for me to think I could brush all the surfaces of his teeth “better” myself with a regular toothbrush was seriously misguided. He likes the toothpaste so he’s licking and moving his mouth etc. This toothbrush gets the job done in the least amount of time, and its better than not doing it at all.Save yourself some time and headache and just get this.I found this covered my dogs molars completely and his K9’s enough for me to be satisfied. He is a 110lb American Bulldog with very large K9 teeth.

This brush is the perfect size for my 7 year old BostTerrier who’s teeth we are trying to keep in good shape. The brush brushes all 3 sides at the same time. I wish i had this years ago as the time it takes to do a quality cleaning is quicker because it does all 3 sides at the same time. I prefer this triple brush type of dog tooth brush. I had purchased other ones similar to these but the handles were not as thick. I was disappointed when I received these brushes only for the fact the handles were too thick that you could not put them in a toothbrush holder. I am an avid believer that dogs should have their teeth brushed a couple times a week to prevent tarter and gingivitis, which can affect a dog’s heart.

This tooth brush works very well for cleaning the teeth our Lab and Golden Retriever. Naturally they like the poultry flavor of their enzyme toothpaste and tend to lick and chew while I brush, so using this larger brush with the three sets of bristles lets me get more brushing done quicker between the flailing teeth and tongues.

I was previously using a dog toothbrush that was very similar to a human toothbrush and I felt like it just wasn’t doing the job. I purchased this toothbrush in hopes to help keep my dogs teeth clean after I had her dental work done. My dog fights me brushing her teeth, but the great thing about this brush is that I have it surrounding her teeth and she tries to chew it, which then helps to clean her back teeth. I’m confident that this toothbrush works better than the normal dog toothbrush.

This brush has 3 heads which are all very flexible (unlike some of the similar brushes the market that feel like wire). The heads are big enough to brush the 3/4″ tall molars in my greyhounds’ mouths. If your dog tolerates brushing at all, this brush makes it quicker and easier to get to the inside surfaces. The side brushes are soft, and the center brush is a bit stiffer, but the “necks” they attach to are pretty springy so the stiffness shouldn’t be too grating.

First off, please note that we have a large Samoyed we are basing our review and this product might work better for other breed. This is just our experience with the product. We will separate this product in two parts, the toothbrush and the toothpaste:Toothbrush:The way it is constructed you’d think it would do a good job, but we have discovered that the bristles are not positioned in a way to get down near the gums where most canine tooth issue occur. We actually utilize a real toothbrush now for much better results.Toothpaste:Well this is the real issue now. Our dog loves this stuff and would sit there forever licking it while we brushed his teeth if we wanted, but the problem comes in the form that our vet feels the reaswhy he likes it so much is because of the high sugar and/or sweetener contents. It is basically like brushing your dogs teeth with candy, it doesn’t make sense. Unfortunately, our vet could not think of a better brand and suggested that we still utilize it, but in pea like amounts and try to wash off his teeth with water post every application. In summary, for the price it was a great product to test, but we are still lacking what we really desired in terms of canine tooth care.

Brushing my dog’s teeth has been an ordeal…both for me AND her. This is a well designed tootbrush; gets all sides of your dog’s teeth at once and makes brushing them much less difficult and less time consuming(Yipee!!). Our dog is 55# and she has allowed me to brush her teeth for a year now with a single brush. She is 13 years old and has switched to this triple headed brush with no problem. She doesn’t chew her toothbrush as I brush and this brush helps me do a more thorough job than with a regular toothbrush.

Its good for dogs and people, too. I tried it before using for the dogs and its a good product for a quick toothbrushing. For dogs, its easier to use – more coverage than a single brush which keeps slipping from the teeth while the dog moves about.

I purchased two “Triple Pet Toothbrush Large,” one for each dog. While dogs who do well to tolerate having their teeth brushed would probably do well with these, personally, I think I’ll prefer to get regular toothbrushes. Trying to brush our dogs’ teeth is a hassle for me with these because: (1) they work so hard to reject the toothbrush (even though they like the toothpaste), and (2) trying to line the brush AROUND their teeth (since it has side bristles) while they try to reject the brush from their mouths is nerve-fryingly tedious and annoying. At times, I may be able to get the brush under their lip, but not wrapped around a line of teeth. Plus, dogs’ teeth are not as close together nor as similarly shaped like humans’ teeth so while I may get it wrapped around a tooth, trying to brush along one line of teeth may prove fruitless when it reaches a gap in the line. With that in mind, this toothbrush does what it looks like it should do. It just hasn’t proved to be the best optifor my household.

The toothbrush I got is red and white at the head with an orange handle. It does the job, but the tensibetween the 3 brushes is a bit weak; they seems to spread way apart too easily, so I am not sure all the brushes are really getting all the tooth surfaces clean. The previous brush I had seemed “tighter.”

Most people don’t realize the importance of brush a dog’s teeth until the vet bill comes back for the removal of an impacted tooth. Save yourself the headache and make it part of your dog’s grooming routine. What I tend to do is brush my pets mouthes every time I bathe then, the thing to note is your really want to use a tasty toothpaste. Pair this with any a daily dose of Tropiclean Water Additive and your dog’s breathe is going to smell better then most humans you know. Overal this toothbrush does the job and I have absolutely no complaints. The alternative is giving your dogs greenies, which although work very well. Greenies can potentially cause your dog to get impacted, they also cost a whole heck of a lot more. The trade off is more manual labor vs cost, the choice is yours and if you want my opinion, go the old fashiroute.

My first Triple Pet large brush broke after 9 years of use, so now to brush # 2. I use a regular tooth brush first, and this one the top, and bottom of the back teeth for at least 12 strokes. My vets, a practice of 3 doctors, always remark at how good our 12 and 13 year old dogs teeth look compared to even young dogs they see in their practice. They have never been cleaned at the vet, only brushed nightly.I recommend this brush, it works well once you acclimate your dog to it. My lab mix loves it, and wants me to use the Triple Pet brush longer than I have energy for at bed time.

First issue was the size. It says for small breeds but the size indicates different. Def better suited for mid sized dogs like Beagles or Corgis. Way too big for a 10lb Yorkie. Second complaint is the bristle hardness. The bristles are very stiff and unforgiving. Toothbrush went right in the trash.

I am using this for the back teeth and a regular brush for the rest. This brush only works when brushing from the top and not the sides. Works well for back teeth but not for canines or front teeth. The tip has 3 plastic pieces, allowing the 3 brushes to work independently. But, the pieces are flimsy so you can’t use too much force. Bottom line, I end up using 2x the toothpaste because I am using 2 brushes. I could get away with just a regular brush if the dog was more cooperative. The only positive is that this brush allows me to do more at once.

Bought this thinking it will work better than a regular brush. Unfortunately it has a small head and the three brushes are very close to each others making it very difficult to brush the back teeth. Also, my dog will not allow me to brush his teeth and it is even more difficult to use this brush. This brush may work well for those dogs who are okay with the idea of brushing teeth. But I would not recommend it for people who have dogs like mine. I tried it a couple of times and then switched back to the simple toothbrush that the Vet gave us.

Possibly it’s because we have goldens but this item does not give us the control we feel we need. Our dogs, while enjoying the brushing experience, still move a bit and the length of the brush makes it difficult to wield.
